Spine Yoga combines yoga exercises of thousands’ years with the knowledge of modern anatomy and spine therapy. Asanas (body postures) are anatomically perfect postures that are able to balance the muscular system, support the self-healing power of the body and harmonise the circulatory system and other energetic processes. The aim of Spine yoga is to restore the health of the physical body, thus reaching a more complete and more balanced standard of life. Since a primary condition of physical health is the right body posture, that is where we start the treatment. Proper body posture and good breathing are the basis of the treatment of locomotor diseases, therefore they must be learnt first and foremost.
Hatha classes we learn to perform asanas (body postures) precisely and properly from an anatomical point of view. Besides, simple pranayama exercises (breathing exercises) are taught. The goal of yoga is not only to recover the body but also to clear energetic blocks and experience more refined senses by acquiring asanas. Through this the mind opens up to more subtle experiencing.
Dynamic yoga aligns traditional yoga exercises (asanas) with a special breathing. As a result, the practice gets more intense compared to other yoga types and this makes the body flexible and strong, and renders the mind calm, focussed and well-balanced.
Sound bath is a very intense frequency therapy in which we lie or sit while bathing in the vibration of gongs, Tibetan singing bowls and other musical instruments. Vibrations clean our cells, rejuvenate and revitalise our bodies.
Singing bowls –along with gongs- are important means and accessories of alternative methods aimed at preserving health and encouraging healing processes. They remind us of our inner health and completeness, and the perfect harmony of body, mind and soul.
